Billinge had a couple of key players missing for this fixture so it was always going to be a tough match against a very physical Hawkley side.
The match was very evenly balanced with both midfields cancelling each other out until Hawkley took the lead through a goal that looked to be offside.
Billinge raised their game in the second half and pushed hard with Sam B-F scoring a deserved equaliser. Billinge tried hard and had a couple of good chances to win it but it wasn't to be. A draw probably a fair result on the day.
