Orrell 0 v U13 12
This game was against an Orrell side who are struggling in the league and played with a bare minimum of 11 players.
We had all the attacking play, but just couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net for the first 20 mins or so – Orrells defence made some last ditch tackles and the goalie made a number of good saves.
Eventually we got the breakthrough with Jack getting his first goal of the season with a great shot from just inside the box.
Archie was causing problems and was putting some great crosses in. 3 goals followed in quick succession to make it 4 -0 at half time.
We continued to try and pass the ball, which was made possible by some unselfish running and movement.
Jack was winning everything in midfield, putting in his best performance of the season.
Another 8 goals were scored in the 2nd half, which would have been more if the Orrell goalie hadn’t made some great saves.
A good performance with Jack, Archie and Liam in particular playing very well.
