This was a match played in torrential rain and heavy wind on a soggy pitch so was never going to make a classic.
Billinge fell behind to a dubious penalty but recovered well and a long range effort from Jay P and a goal from Bradley S put Billinge 2 -1 up by the break.
Billinge continued to push hard but a combination of good goalkeeping and poor finishing limited the scoreline.
The last 15 minutes saw Sam B-F extend the lead however a Young Gate break away goal made for a nervy finish until Bradley S bagged his second of the game to make the result safe.
