Atherton Town 1 v U11's 2
This game was played on a heavy pitch which did not lend itself to flowing football. Billinge started well enough with 2 well taken goals from Sam B-F giving them the early advantage against a 10 man Atherton town.
All credit to Atherton who clawed a goal back and to their credit put Billinge under a lot of pressure. Only some resolute defending stopped Atherton from getting the draw that they probably deserved.
