U11's 0 v Hindley Juniors 6
Billinge came up against a very good, physical, Hindley Juniors side this week. They held their own for the first 15 minutes until a defensive mistake and a deflected goal put the visitors two up. Two further well taken goals made the half time score 4-0 to Hindley.
All credit to Billinge who kept up the effort all through the second half, and despite several injuries and several walking wounded, they managed to keep the score as was until the last 5 minutes when they conceded a further 2 goals.
I could not fault the effort put in and a special mention goes to MOM Luke M who made some excellent saves to keep the score at six.
