Billinge got off to a terrible start and found themselves 3 down after 10 minutes. However, they rallied themselves and played some great football to go in at half time only 3-2 down.
Once again, a bad start to the second half and Billinge found themselves 5-2 down. Billinge pulled one back and dominated the next 10 minutes, but for some outstanding saves from the Standish keeper, they may have got back in it.
Billinge had to chase the game for the last 5 minutes and as a consequence conceded three late goals.
