U12's 9 v Town Green 0
Billinge kept up their great start to the season with a stunning 9-0 victory over local rivals Town Green. The game was a pretty cautious affair for the first 10 minutes until Jake S burst throgh the defence in typical style to score the opener.
Instead of sitting back Billinge really went for the jugular and a combination of sound defensive work, creative midfield play and quality finishing saw them race into a 6-0 half time lead.
The second half display was equally as impressive with Sam BF capping his MOM award by scoring 5 goals closely followed by Jake S with 4.
A really impressive start to the season, let's hope we can keep up the performance levels against stiffer opposition.
